Valencia CF backed the strategic agreement reached this Thursday between LaLiga and international investment fund CVC. After the LaLiga Assembly to discuss the ‘LaLiga Impulso’ move, club president Anil Murthy expressed his satisfaction with the approval of the deal.
"Today is an important day, because we have reached an almost unanimous decision to boost the growth of LaLiga. We are aware of the existing challenges and it is essential that we do something to be able to compete with other leagues and sectors,” said the VCF president.
“At Valencia CF, we have been investing in innovation and digital transformation, and working together with LaLiga to keep the brand growing, because we feel that this is the best way to move forward.”
Valencia CF have shown their firm support for LaLiga, an entity with which they share projects and understanding, in an agreement that will make the league more competitive, improve industrial growth and combat the effects on clubs of the COVID-19 pandemic in a fair way.
